Novacom's largest endeavor came through collaboration with one of the worlds leading engineering firms, Black & Veatch. Slowly migrating out of the cubicle era, Black & Veatch needed a basement design that didn't feel like a "dungeon". The client was also looking for a space for the "next generation" of employees. There was only one catch, this space had no windows. How can you create a positive environment with no natural lighting? Novacom Consultants worked with many of the leading professionals in the engineering & design field to answer that very question. Throughout the course of this project, Novacom was able to use creativity, curiosity, teamwork, and innovation to create never-before seen transformations restructuring what an office space should be.
When asked by the head of engineering of Blue Valley's Advanced Professional Studies to create an innovative and functioning space using existing furniture found within the building, Novacom Consultants jumped to the task!
This environment encapsulates the idea of working in small groups. This mentality is centered around the ever-changing work environment, and getting students to collaborate with each other. In the center of the room is an entire class collaboration space.
With a second design, Novacom Consultants focused on an efficient technological setup similar to a computer lab. Students would be on engineering programs in this room, meaning this room needs to provide the most comfortable and practical use of technology.
